The Jan Weimer Fund
Continuing funding of a Stanford University Chair and research fund to
develop cutting-edge technologies for early identification of women-at-risk
of breast cancer;
Jan’s life, and countless others, were cut short because such
technologies were unavailable.

Dear Friends,
This is a reminder to save the dates for the Annual Jan Weimer Memorial
Concert events. We have two exciting concerts planned this year. On Thursday,
November 17 in Downtown Los Angeles, Zipper Auditorium, the Camerata Pacifica
Concert will be preceded by a reception and brief Stanford Faculty talk
on research progress. On Saturday, November 19 at noon , we will hold a
violin and piano recital featuring Jenny Levin, former concert mistress
of The Kennedy Center Opera Orchestra and Riko ( justriko.com)
at the Chislehurst Recital and Buffet Hall in Los Feliz.
Seating is limited at all these events, so please send requests for
reservations as soon as possible and specify which events. Please make
checks out to Stanford Medical School with Jan Weimer in the memo line
and mail to our office address below. Donations to each event at $150
or more and $250 for both events will support the Jan Weimer Chair.
We have donated $600,000 so far and have 2 ½ years
to make our million dollar goal.

Violin and piano recital featuring Jenny Levin, former concert

will be a silent auction of dinners donated by Los Angeles’ prestige
restaurants.
Season ticket for Camerata Pacifica ($324 for 8 concerts)
Adrian Spence, music director will donate 50 % of the ticket price to the
Jan Weimer Fund.
Capricorn Coffee of San Francisco (market price)
Every purchase of Jan Weimer Special Blend generates a percentage donation.
*$250 donation for both concerts
Please pass the word to people you know. Also, please publicize Jan’s
website to your Facebook friends.
Directions to the events will accompany reservation acknowledgement.
